Old West Trio
Old West Trio is an acoustic trio based in the foothills of Northern California’s gold country. Members Steve Ide (L), Leslie Ide (C), and Steve Johnson (R) perform traditional Western standards, cowboy ballads of every era, and yodeling tunes. You can sing along or simply tap your feet while enjoying their three-part harmony and a trip down memory lane.
Old West Trio has performed at such venues as the Western States Horse Expo, the Elk Grove Western Festival, for several Cowboy Action Shooting events from Sacramento to Salinas, and several wagon train events. They have been featured guests on two syndicated radio shows, Horsemen's Radio Weekly and the Chronicle of the Old West.

Bob Christensen began writing his own style of cowboy poetry in 1983. A couple of years later at the Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, he began reciting some of his work and was featured at the Gathering for several years. Soon after, he started entertaining all over the western states and Canadian provinces at poetry gatherings, western shows and other Ag related functions. He produced the Ogden Cowboy Poetry Roundup for 13 years, for which he received the first Spirit of the West Award in 2001. Bob guarantees his poetry to be 90% non-educational and is considered to be one of the funniest of the cowboy poets.
